On May 17, 2008 IT inventory system v. 1.0 was released for the general public. It is designed for usage by IT departments which need to keep track of equipment assigned to company employees (users). You are allowed to track devices, software components installed on the devices, devices usage history etc. It also allows you to manage your devices suppliers for warranty repairs if necessary.
